After giving it one final once over, Bracebridge council is approving the 2019 municipal budget.
The approval means Bracebridge residents will see a tax increase of 1.6 per cent on their 2019 bills, which would translate to an extra $7 on a $100,000 home.
Some of the projects on the table this year including the $3.4 million extension of Salmon Avenue from Wellington Street to Muskoka Road 118 West, $1.1 million to complete the James Street reconstruction in town and half a million dollars for a new pumper truck for Bracebridge Fire.
The town will also be putting some more funds in reserves for long-term planning and future infrastructure projects.
