One of the suspects in the Wanzhen Lu kidnapping has turned himself in.
Lu is the 22-year-old Chinese citizen studying in Canada who was taken from the parking garage of a Markham condo on March 23rd. He was found on Doe Lake Road in Gravenhurst on March 26th.
York Regional Police issued a Canada-wide warrant for Abdullahi Adan from Toronto yesterday. Police say the 37-year-old turned himself in overnight. He’s facing charges of kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon and assault.
