GRAVENHURST, ON – A single-vehicle collision has resulted in drug charges in Gravenhurst.
Last night around 6:00pm Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police responded to a crash on Kingswood Road. A truck had left the road, driven across a lawn and struck a pole.
The driver received medical attention from Muskoka EMS and transported him to the hospital for treatment.
After police investigated the incident they arrested 63-year-old Bogdan Jakubasz of Gravenhurst with driving while impaired by a drug along with a pair of possession charges of heroin and cocaine.
He will face those charges at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge August 27th.
