HUNTSVILLE, ON – A boy reported as missing earlier in the day by the OPP was with his mother.
A call came to the MyMuskokaNow.com newsroom after announcer Remy Smith broadcast an advisory on a missing seven-year-old boy.
The mother, named Jen, said her son was right in front of her and was not missing.
Police had initiated a ground search in the Menominee Road area off of Brunel Road in Huntsville. A canine unit and OPP helicopter were en route to help with the search.
It is unclear who initiated the search to begin with.
